Modeled on YPT’s long running Summer School, our “drama camp” is actually a focused-learning environment. In this session, young people get in touch with their unique capacity to make sense of a rapidly changing world through the arts. Participants will create and play all day while making life-long friends and exploring their imaginations!
This year grade 3-6 students will also get to see YPT’s production of The Neverending Story. Parents are welcome to join the students when they see the show. The students will explore the themes of the play during the camp.
Campers will explore improvisation, acting, voice, movement, mask making and other theatrical exercises. Each camp will have a final presentation/sharing in the last hour of the program on Friday, 16 March, 2012. Friends, guest and relatives are welcome to attend.
